Censtudios (short for Creative Entertainment Studios) is a team of young enthusiasts, located all over the world, that are interested in creating machinima (films created within existent 3D environments such as games) as well as working on real-world film productions. Over the years we have made machinima in games such as GunZ The Duel, Fiesta Online, Guild Wars 2 and more.


How it all began

The first idea for Censtudios was made on october 14th 2006, after Irmo created one of his GunZ Online machinima. It was then decided that having a group of people with similar interests was a good idea to get more knowledge about video editing. The first Censtudios website went live in january 2007.

In 2008 we received our first paid assignment by Outspark to make a music video for one of their games. Soon after, we decided to turn Censtudios more into a business. We received an other assignment by OnsOnSoft, a partner of Outspark, to make an official TV commercial for "Fiesta", a game hosted by Outspark (US) and Gamigo (EU). This commercial was broadcasted on TV in numerous countries in Europe and Asia.

As Censtudios continued to grow in expertise, we launched our real-world film department in 2010. We started to work on real-life video productions, other than machinima. Our most-known work is for Achterhood, a Dutch rapgroup located in the east part of The Netherlands. They consider us their official video production team and every single video they have is produced by Censtudios.
